Pingback to my own site (annoying)

  If I link to one of my pages from a new post I get a pingback request for that post to be added as a comment to the page.

  Is there any way to prevent this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can disable pings in general (which I guess you wouldn’t prefer), or you can prevent self-pings only:
