Pingbacks

  Was just wondering, how do you use pingbacks? How do you put them in your blog? Not sure if I even fully understand the concept, but that’s besides the point! Anyone?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Pingbacks are automatic. You can see how they work by enabling pingbacks and then adding a link to one of your own posts on a new or edited post. WordPress will automatically “ping back” as a comment to the linked-to post, including a link to the new post. (Pingback has to be enabled on the post that’s being linked to, or nothing happens.)

  When approving pingbacks it’s important to be astute as many are from spam blogs and splogs. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/05/06/trackback-and-pinback-spam-what-to-do/
