Pingbacks are not working

Pingbacks are no longer working on my site.
For the last couple of days, on my blog We Drink Because We’re Poets (http://wedrinkbecausewerepoets.com/), I’ve received a couple of complaints that people cannot pingback to posts. To ensure the issue was not an issue with my blog or theirs, I asked them to check their discussion settings. I also checked mine. Additionally, I tested out the pingbacks from my other blog, the Arkside of Thought (http://sahmataineking.com/), and I could not pingback from there either.
I took my testing one step further. I got curious and decided to try to pingback on The Arkside of Thought as well. I chose random posts. I cannot pingback on that blog either. I also noticed that two others tried to link to this blog yesterday and were not successful. I know this because, in the course of visiting their blogs, I noticed they were linked to a couple of my posts.
In sum, the issue is not restricted to post.
The issue is occurring on at least two of my blogs.
The issue is happening with more than one person, including myself.
I have verified my settings and the settings of others are set to allow for pingbacks and notification of pingbacks and trackbacks.Is there anything else that can be done to resolve this issue?

I am having the same problem. I scanned other posts and it appears WP knows there is a bug in the system and their crack development team is on the case :-)
