Pingbacks aren't notifying me!

In the beginning (started the blog in May), it notified me every time another blog linked back to one of my pages…but now, I don’t get ANY notifications. I’ve been missing out on little post events and tags due to this. I made sure the settings for all pages and the overall account had pingbacks checkmarked so people could link back to me. Anyone know what’s up??

It’s not just one site, it’s multiple. I just happen to notice sometimes because I read the blog posts of some sites. When I get to the bottom and see my blog linked there, I realize that several sites probably have linked to me, but it’s not notifying me. The most recent is this one:

What’s most likely happening there is that the owner of that site has their settings set to not send out pingbacks – site owners can decide whether they want linked sites to be notified or not, and if they’ve switched that off, or if they use the shortlink version of your URL, you don’t get a notification.
