Pingbacks Periodically Not Working

Good day.
Periodically pingbacks will not work for the Daily Prompts I have been participating in. Some will work, some won’t and there is never any telling when it will work and when it won’t.
I was told to report this incident so here I am, reporting it. Please let me know if I need to provide links to posts that did not work when I did a pingback. So far, all incidents center around the daily writing prompts.

Are you saying that pingbacks on the Staff blog at https://dailypost.wordpress.com/blogging-university/ are not working?

Sometimes when I do one of these prompts and post the pingback link it will work. Other times, it won’t.
