Pingbacks problem

  I’m having trouble linking to daily challenges with pingbacks.

  I’ve done a daily post pingback and a weekly photo challenge pingback but they don’t’ seem to have worked. I’ve double checked the “how to” do this on the “learn wordpress” page and believe I’ve done it correctly but obviously I’ve missed something as the posts are not showing up as included in the results of the two challenges.

  Is there a way I can trouble-shoot what I’m doing wrong?

  The pingbacks have a bug and are not posting as expected. Staff is aware of that issue and working on getting it fixed.

  I took a look at your posts here:

  and it seems that you weren’t properly linking to the daily challenges. The links I found have a double “http://” in them:

  http://http://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/unexpected-guests/

  The correct form should be:

  http://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/unexpected-guests/

  Can you check these out and see if the pingbacks become successful after changing the links?
