Pingbacks vulnerability

    Hi, I have two questions?
    – How can I check the current version of WordPress in my site?
    – Is the pingbacks vulnerability fixed in your WordPress version or should I follow the steps in this link in forder to fix it? http://krebsonsecurity.com/2014/03/blogs-of-war-dont-be-cannon-fodder/

    Howdy!

    We are always running the latest version of WordPress, so while there is no way to check the version (because we run a slightly modified version of the software that is available from WordPress.org), we are always running the latest, most secure version.

    As for that article, yes, we were made aware of the issues as soon as it came to light and our engineers have actively been working on mitigating it, so there is no need to take any action at this time. However, of course, if you notice anything out of the ordinary, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
