Pings and tracebacks not showing up

    I’ve had the “Allow link notifications from other Weblogs (pingbacks and trackbacks)” option enabled since my blog was created (and it is still checked), but I’m not seeing any tracebacks.

    Is this a site-specific – meaning the source of the trackback needs to be approved by WP staff or should this just work?

    I know they are not showing because one of the web sites that I submitted a few articles to has an automatic tracebacks when an article is submitted (http://www.dotnetkicks.com). These tracebacks aren’t showing up in my discussions or comments.

    They often don’t show up, and we don’t know why. Try editing the post in question, even just changing a comma to a semicolon and then save. See what happens. Sometimes they show up; I’ve had them show up six months late!

    I have the same problem. I’ve written a few entries in my blog recently, but they did not appear on the other weblog I’ve already subscribed. Do I have to change something in my blog setting?
