PinInterest verification
-
I followed your instructions and for some reason PinInterest repeatedly gives me this message: “Looks like we had trouble connecting to your website.” What to do?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please make sure that you are copying just the string and not the full line of code from Pinterest. You will see how that string is in bold on the page in your WordPress dashboard. The string is the long series of letters and numbers after content=. Make sure you are not copying the quotes either.

Yes, I understood that because I did the same when I added Google verification. Could it be I have a different email address for WordPress login as I do for PinInterest? Just cannot understand why it doesn’t work

Are you logged into Pinterest when you are trying to verify?

Hi Leslie,
Just to confirm, did you enter the exact address https://thehumanfootprint.wordpress.com/ (starting with https) in your Pinterest profile?
-
well I think so because if I go to my Pinterest account, underneath my business name is my wordpress blog address. If I push on that address, it takes me to my blog

Hi Leslie,
I confirmed that your Pinterest verification code appears on your blog, so if you entered that blog address at Pinterest.com everything is set up for the verification to work. In that case, you’ll need to get in touch with Pinterest support to find out why they are having trouble connecting to your blog.
If Pinterest tells you that you need to make any changes here at WordPress.com, I’d be happy to help you with that. :)
