  how do i add pinterest to my sidebar or widget

  Just use a text widget to link to Pinterest. You also have the Share to Pinterest button under Settings->Sharing on your dashboard, and that goes on each post.

  why is it my setting > sharing menu does not show pinterest? I’d like to add a “pin it” button to each post but can only see facebook, twitter, linked in, tumblr, and yahoo as options.

  You can add a Pinterest, etc. sharing button below your posts. Sharing http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/
  You cannot use the Pin-it Javascript code on a WordPress.com blog.

  thanks…when I go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/ it is straightforward and makes sense. But on my own blog, when I go to sharing > settings the pinterest option is not ther
