Pinterest and Mail Chimp?
-
By the time we resort to a forum, frustration levels have hit the roof. So, I’m really hoping there is something simple I’m missing to be able to do to place a Pinterest board and a Mail Chimp form and/or embedded short form on my site. I’d like to know how to do this on a page and in a widget.
Details with lots of lay terms, please.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I clicked the links you posted into the sidebar and did tag searches.
The only code that will work for Pinterest site verification of a wordpress.comblog is described here https://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#pinterest-site-verification and you must be logged into Pinterest when you are trying to verify?
The Pinterest “Pin It” hover button will automatically appear on your WordPress.com blog if you have added Pinterest as a sharing button on your Settings > Sharing page and if you are also using the “Official buttons” for the style of the buttons (you can change it on that same settings page).
We can hover over any image in a post and pin it if we are logged into Pinterest. If you have enabled the official buttons for sharing, a “Pin It” hover button will automatically appear for your images. https://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/ All we do after clicking the share button is choose one of the images displayed in the post to pin. It’s as easy as pie. ;)
See how to install the Pinterest browser button:
Google Chrome
Mozilla Firefox

Safari
Microsoft Edge

And here’s the Sharing link https://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/ -
See here for installing the follow blog widget https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
You can also use the Blog Subscription Shortcode https://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscription-shortcode/
You cannot use the MailChimp embed code or the Aweber embed code and cannot create a pop-up on a wordpress.COM hosted blog.
You can create a sign-up page on MailChimp or on Aweber only and link to it.
If you want to use MailChimp with your WordPress.com site here’s the info from MailChimp Support http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog scroll down to If You Have a WordPress.com Site
