  You can upload any image you like to your media library then use it in an image widget to link to Pintrest if you like.

  I was hoping to add a Pin It button to some of my images, but just learned that wordpress.com doesn’t have a menu for plugins, but somehow .org does. I’m confused. I’d like the pin it button. Help!

  You can set up sharing for Pinterest if you follow the instructions on the support page. You can also verify your Pinterest site.

  Thanks so much. Is there any way to get the Pin It button actually on my photos?

  You can embed from Pinterest and it looks like if you do that the individual pins will show a little red “Pin it” button at the top left of the image.
