Pinterest Hover Button

  I would like to add the Pinterest Hover Button on my blog so that as the readers mouse hovers over an image the Pinterest button appears and they can Pin that image. It will bring more traffic to my page as opposed to the reader having to scroll down to the end of the post for the Pin It option. I’ve searched how to do this however it seems to only be available on WordPress. org. Can you please assist me with this?

  Hi there,

  You can enable a sharing button to allow visitors to pin your posts to Pinterest. We have instructions for enabling those sharing buttons here.

  However, there isn’t a way to create Pinterest hover buttons for pinning individual images if you have more than one image in your post. We’ve come across this suggestion before and it has been passed along to our developers to consider for future features and updates! I have added your request to the report as well.

  Hi there,

  Just wanted to update you with great news! The “Pin it” hover button has been added! It now gets auto-enabled if you have connected Pinterest in Settings > Sharing and selected the “Official buttons” option for button style setting.
