Pinterest link put in text widget will not show

  Pinterest button not showing in side bar. Have used the text widget as explained in posts about this (tried it in title space and body). Will only show my name but no pinterest button. Name links to pinterest page when clicked, but just looks like my name is in sidebar so no indication it’s about pinterest!

  If their button code uses JavaScript or iframes, we have to filter it out for security reasons.

  Instead, I’d recommend using an Image widget, which can be used to just link a Pinterest logo/button.
