pinterest on widget

  I’ve followed the directions in your tutorial for embedding my Pinterest profile on a widget. I’ve tried copying the link, the html code and variations of both but nothing will show up on the widget.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I see that you’ve added your Pinterest profile link to a text widget, but the tutorial on this page https://en.support.wordpress.com/embed-from-pinterest/ mentions embedding either in a post or page, which does work.

  I’ve tested this on my demo site and indeed the Pinterest link did not turn into a profile embed when I pasted it in a text widget.

  A possible workaround might be to use an image widget with a screenshot of your profile and then link it to your profile page on Pinterest. https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/image-widget/

  Thanks so much! I wasted so much time trying to do one simple thing. I didn’t try the screenshot and then add it to the image widget. Once I did that, it works perfectly. Really appreciate the help.
