I couldn’t connect my pinterest account to the sharing setting. Don’t know if there is a missing element between the two sites as pinterest couldn’t verify my wordpress site even though I correctly obtained a meta-tag…can you help?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Did you follow this guide for Pinterest Site Verification?

If so which step did you get stuck on please?Did you enable sharing icons by following this guide?

We cannot use JavaScript pin-it widgets nor can we install any plugins on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
You can capture an image of a Pinterest icon and upload it, link to it and display it in a text widget. I have done this here in the text widget at the top of my sidebar for those who want to follow me on Pinterest http://thistimethisspace.com/ and here on my About page http://thistimethisspace.com/about
For creating links in a text widget see:

NOTE http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/#adding-an-imageYou can upload image files by clicking the Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/
You can also upload new files to your Media Library using Media → Add New. http://support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new

Hello, thanks for the help.
Actually, I did follow both the site verification and enabled sharing procedures. At first my site wouldn’t verify during the site verification stage. Instead it would say ‘whoops…no’. But I found out today that there is no issue from Pinterest has they have confirmed that my wordpress web address has been verified from their end.
On the sharing settings the section ‘publicize’ there is an option to connect a ‘Path’. When I click on ‘connect’ to make that connection, I sign in using the pinterest email and password, but it doesn’t allow me to continue any further. Instead a message comes up saying invalid email or password, when neither are invalid when I login into Pinterest normally.
That’s where my problems are…if I want to share automatically any posts. Especially if I post only graphics or images for Pinterest that would be best I thought.
The enable sharing is not a problem for me, it’s absolutely fine. That’s more reader controlled whereas the ‘publicize’ one for me is more crucial to publish my posts automatically, as it does to my facebook, linkedin, tumblr and Google+ accounts.
Thanks

To make it clearer, Path is not Pinterest (even though the icons are similar) and Pinterest is not part of the available Publicizing options.
