I would love a Pinterest plug-in. Please create one for WordPress.com blogs ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no FTP access and no plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes anything at all stated here http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ FTP access, and plugins are available only for VIP bloggers http://vip.wordpress.com/our-services/ or for those with WordPress.ORG installs.
Please read > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ -
The pin it button is JavaScript. We cannot use JavaScript pin-it widgets nor can we install any plugins on free hosted WordPress.com blogs, so do be clear on that please.
You can capture an image of a Pinterest icon and upload it, link to it and display it in a text widget. I have done this here in the text widget at the top of my sidebar for those who want to follow me on Pinterest http://thistimethisspace.com/ and here on my About page http://thistimethisspace.com/about
For creating links in a text widget see:

NOTE http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/text-widget/#adding-an-imageYou can upload image files by clicking the Add Media button right above the editing area of a page or a post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/add-media/
You can also upload new files to your Media Library using Media → Add New. http://support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new

You enable sharing buttons including a Pinterest one to display at the bottom of your posts. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/

Hi,
Just a note… it’s not quite a pinterest plugin and does not let you actually show a pinterest gallery in a traditional gallery format, but it will show your pinterest board plugin…
I found this out entirely by chance when pasting the link to my pinterest board on WP… WP automatically converted it into a “nice” graphical display of the board in a similar way to what pinterests own widgets do…
See my pinterest page on wp for more info…
All I did was paste the plain URL in the visual editor and WP did the rest… i.e. I just pasted
http://pinterest.com/pinlanceolot/art-realism/in the normal edit box.Its not perfect in terms of automatically showing a pinterest gallery but it is pretty decent to link back to pinterest in a nice graphical way.
Not sure if WP are planning anything but the fact that this works so well seems to me to indicate that they have considered something unofficial.
Cheers
Lanceolot

You can read all about it in this Support document: http://en.support.wordpress.com/embed-from-pinterest/

Hi All,
Thanks @timethief for your elaborate explanation and links. Although I am not technically skilled or savvy enough to understand why we can’t have Pinterest widget when we can have Instagram widget, on WordPress.com blogs.
@lanceolot that is a nifty thing you found out, though I’d really wish it’d work on the side bars.
@justjennifer thanks a lot for the link! Seems like Pinterest has just introduced this – http://business.pinterest.com/widget-builder/#do_embed_board
Not sure if it will work for me on my blog. Will try it out and update here. :)

Because of the code restrictions on WordPress.com many of the widgets created by popular sites have to undergo some changes to make them secure on our sites. You’ll find the latest info in the WordPress.com support docs.
So while we can currently easily share to Pinterest from our posts and pages via the “Pin It” sharing button and can embed Pinterest boards in our sites, we don’t yet have the ability to embed a profile or pin. Those may be coming (look at the very bottom of the Support doc I linked to earlier).
Also, there are themes that have social media links including Pinterest integrated in the theme itself and if you search the “pinterest” tag in the forums, you will probably come on workarounds that other users have come up with.
