Pinterest site Verification
-
According to the https://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#pinterest-site-verification
I should see the verification fields for Bing, google+, Yandex and Pinterest. But instead of Pinterest I only see Facebook. So how do I add the tags to head part of the html file? -
Hi mijiaeggers,
There are no sites listed in the account you are currently logged in to. Can you send a link to the site you are working on?
Thanks!

Thanks — mymagicearth.com is a WordPress.org site hosted by 1&1 rather than WordPress.com. There is some information about the differences between the two here:
We are only able to help with WordPress.com sites but these community forums are a great resource for self hosted sites:
https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
I recommend posting there for help :)

This is about the WordPress. According to the link https://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#pinterest-site-verification
I should go to WordPress “settings” and click on tab “traffic” as instructed in point 7 of above link, but there is no such tab called “traffic”.
Can you please tell me why? Please be aware I am in the WordPress app, not talk about my site at all.

Hi there,
Those instructions apply to WordPress.COM sites only. Since you’re using the self-hosted version of WordPress you’ll need to use a plugin and follow these instructions:
On these forums, we’re only able to provide support for WordPress websites that are hosted by us. For help with a self-hosted WordPress site you can ask over at the WordPress.org forums:
https://wordpress.org/support/
If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and the self-hosted WordPress.org you can read this article:
