pinterest site verification doesn't work

  I followed the steps to verify my site on Pinterest, putting the meta content id inside the appropriate place in Tools, but it does not verify.

  Pinterest states:

  Whoops!
  Trouble verifying your domain. Please try again later.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  There has been a recent error with Pinterest validations. We’ve contacted them to get it sorted out.

  In the meantime, we’ve seen that most of the sites that see the error you reported actually were verified. Can you check your Pinterest settings to see if your domain has been verified?
