This site is hosted by wordpress.COM. It is not a wordpress.ORG site like those referred to in that article.
Please see these support docs i link to below:
The follow the Pinterest Site Verification instructions provided in the support docs which are all at http://support.wordpress.com
Go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#pinterest-site-verificationGo to Dashboard > Sharing please and use this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/#customize-your-services to enable a sharing icon so it will display under each post.
The “Pin it” hover button has been added there. It now gets auto-enabled if you have connected Pinterest in Settings > Sharing and selected the “Official buttons” option for button style setting. If you use the official Sharing buttons on your site, when people hover over an image there, the PinIt button will appear.
See here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/#customize-your-servicesThere is a browser add-on visitors can use to pin images. https://help.pinterest.com/en/articles/add-pin-it-button-your-browser#Web

Thankyou for your answers, I’ll look at your links.
I have posted the wordpress.org link because I have thought wordpress.com was running a modified version o wordpress.org software… so I have thought you could integrate a wordpress.org plugin easily.I’ll check if your links works fine for the free account.

You’re welcome. Note that we can suggest plugin additions https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/ in the Ideas Forum. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/ideas#postform
