Pinterest Widget

Hey everyone,
I would like to add a sidebar widget with my latest pins on pinterest. Just like the Twitter sidebar, featuring the latest twit.
However, I cannot find a way to do it, and on the forums (unless i didnt look properly) i could only find how to put widget in posts and few articles saying it was not feasable.
Do you confirm we cannot do it? if it is possible, how to i manage ?

We cannot use any of the widgets provided by Pinterest on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. There are code restrictions http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ and the widgets are JavaScript which will be stripped out by the software here for security reasons.

Will this ever change in the future so that we can add our Pinterest link to our sidebars and also link pictures in our blogs with a Pinterest button?
OH–really enjoying the ‘new posting experience’ especially with being able to set a featured image. Although, with FB, the picture gets cut off when posted, so, still not happy with FB for this.

Hey thank you for your answers. I hope it will change in the future, and that the add on will be directly provided by WordPress like they do for twitter
