Pique Logo
-
Hi. Does anyone know of a way to make the Logo on the Pique theme larger… mine is appearing quarter size on my 1080p screen when it’s really much larger than that. Also, any way to remove the “blog at wordpress” from the bottom of the screen? Thank you.

On the logo in Pique, you can add the following custom CSS and adjust the 100px height value. The image itself is created on-the-fly by the WordPress software off of the original image, so as you increase the height more and more, the more quality will be lost since you are asking the browser to resize the image, and they aren’t too good at that. It could be that there are other ways to do this, but the site associated with your username is using Baskerville so I wasn’t able to work directly on your site with your image.

We are not allowed to hide or edit the WordPress.com and theme footer credits per our Terms of Service (#1 Attribution). See the Frequently Asked Questions on the Custom Design support page for more information.
You are allowed to restyle the footer credits to better fit with your design as long as they remain readable, and you are also allowed to add text to the footer, such as a copyright statement. If you need help restyling, or adding to, the existing footer credits, let us know and we would be happy to help.

Thank you very much. I’m trying Baskerville for now… Seems to fit my style a little more.
I just read the terms in better detail, I appreciate you pointing that out. I would like to restyle it if possible keeping to the rules. When I see the CSS info like what you posted above, do I just copy that into the box under the CSS tab? Thank you again for your time.

Yes, Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the custom CSS.
