Pique margins on first page

The template for pique does not seem to have any margins/borders when you look at all the panel pages. https://wordpress.com/theme/pique
However when I activated the theme the borders were forced in and I could not choose a “no border” option.
They are 1.5 inch thick white margin/borders on each side of my panels and I would love to get rid of them. The size of the picture is 1500 by 707The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The margin size is dependent upon the visitor’s screen size and browser settings. On my desktop PC (diameter almost 19 inches) with screen resolution of 1280 x 1024, there are no visible margins on either the Pique demo nor your site. I’d have to zoom out three clicks on Google Chrome, or 75% of the default zoom setting, to obtain the 1.5 inch margins that you mention. On Firefox, three clicks results in ~ 2 inch margins.

There are other themes without margins, but I’m unable to provide a list of them offhand. The one I’ve been using for years on my primary site, Koi, is marginless. But it’s retired.
