Pique picture repeat

  I’m using the Pique theme, and have added a blog post with a featured image. When I’m at the blog section (https://joetherat.wordpress.com/blog/), the background image of the post excerpt is tiled and keeps repeating itself if you scroll down (and have a big enough screen). Is there a way to stop this, and only have it display once?

  Hi,

  I believe the reason for the repeat of the image in the background of the panel featuring the blog page is that the featured image on that page is of insufficient height. The file image in question, https://joetherat.files.wordpress.com/2016/10/casey-3_bigger.jpg, has the dimensions 1615 x 615 pixels. The Quick Specs section of the Pique theme guide specifies the following:

  The recommended Featured Image size is at least 1400 by 1000. The theme will scale and crop the images depending on the page and device size.
