Pique Theme Header Dimensions

Hello! Running into something strange and wondering if anyone else has noticed this… I’ve uploaded a logo image at 500×500 px and it loads in at 100×100. I can edit css to make the image display SMALLER, but not LARGER. It’s like whichever container is holding my logo is maxed at 100px but I can’t for the life me find what to edit.

I had the same problem and found exactly what I needed at the link here:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/changing-site-logo-size-in-header/

For the life of me, I cannot figure the difference between that .org site and this .com site and why there are 2 WordPress forums, but nevertheless . . .

I changed the values of the height and width to fit my specs and of course changed the name and location of the graphic image to my own. Do this in Notepad.

Then, at the at the Dashboard, look down for Appearance > Edit CSS. You are trying to do it from Appearance > Customize, but you can’t do it there because those values and limitations are already determined. You have to override those and put in the CSS codex.

There’s no way to edit a response on this board?

I meant to add that 500/500 is AWFULLY big and really dominate the page. I had to resize mine much smaller to place it where I wanted it.

    ARGH!
I just read your post again and see that you’re entering CSS. Sorry about that.

But I think the code in the link will still help you change the percentage size displayed.

Hi @mallory1195, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help from the theme author directly or ask in the volunteer-based WordPress.org forums.

I too a look, and there is an Alchem theme support forum at WordPress.org where you can post for help on your theme.

I did try and access your site to see if I could get you started on the code, but come to a Coming Soon page.

The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
