Pique Theme Header – Featured Image Help
-
Can someone give me the CSS that will stop the featured images from replacing my header!? This is driving me crazy.
I want my main site header to appear on all pages and posts, NOT the featured image.
HOWEVER….I do want my featured images to appear in the panel images (which is why I don’t just remove the featured image all together).
How do I do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @jubials,
It’s only possible to use custom CSS on a Premium plan. However, this won’t change the functionality of the Pique theme, where single posts and pages use Featured Images in the header by default.
What I would recommend here is to use a blocked-based theme, such as Blockbase or Quadrat, which uses full site editing (FSE) to allow you to set custom templates, including where to use your featured image (or not).
You can learn more about FSE here: https://learn.wordpress.org/course/simple-site-design-with-full-site-editing/
Hope that helps.

I have a premium plan, so that’s not an issue on the custom CSS as I already modified it quite a bit.
Figured it out, btw.

Glad you’ve got it! And sorry we didn’t notice you were already on an upgraded plan; we’ve typically used these forums for sites on the free plan, and your site also has a free address. Let us know if you need more help.
