Pique theme Header re-size

  I want to reduce the image header size. IT takes up most of the page currently and I would like it to only be about half the size

  I have done some reading and found this code:

  .pique-panel {
  min-height: 40vh;
  }

  But it does not seem to change anything. Can anyone please help?
