Hi there!
I’m showing that your homepage looks like this now: screenshot https://d.pr/i/yKPaSr
If you’re still having this problem, please take a screenshot of the problem in question. If you’re not familiar on how to take a screenshot, this support document will help explain how to make one:
Then, use a service like Snipboard.io to upload the screenshot and then share the image link from that service here and we’ll take a closer look.
Thanks!

No worries! I have an idea you can try.
1. Go into your Customize tool: https://coachteodora.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php
2. Select Colors & Backgrounds on the left.
3. Click on “Palettes” button: https://d.pr/i/de5HAS
3. Click on the last colored circle: https://d.pr/i/HSBoKc
4. Click a colored box, or, click “pick your own color” to get the exact color you want: https://d.pr/i/ThTRRP
Let us know how it goes!

Teodora,
As an alternative to the suggestion by @deancroyal, you could display a featured image as the background image of the top section of the homepage, which is what is suggested in the Front Page Content section of the Pique theme overview, and what is displayed as the background of the “Front Page” section of the homepage on the Pique demo.
See the Featured Images support page for relevant information and instructions on how to set and remove featured images.

Hi!
Fantastic @deancroyal, it works, THANK YOU!
@musicdoc1 thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I´ve managed to change the background image as well (of the top section of the homepage), the only issue is that the opacity cannot be modified (yes for the panels). -
Glad you’ve got it!
And for what it’s worth, if you plan on upgrading the site at some point, you can manage the opacity with some CSS if you’d like. This can be done in Customize > CSS in Premium, Business, or eCommerce:
.pique-panel-background:before { background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5); }That .5 is 50% opaque, so just adjust the number as you like. And the first three numbers determine the RGB color — black in this case.
Also, bear in mind that the background images will crop differently on different devices, so just make sure whatever you choose works for you regardless of the screen size. There are mobile, tablet, and desktop preview options in the customizer that you’re welcome to try out.
Let us know if you have more questions!
