Pique Theme Homepage

    Right now I am using the Pique theme which has a one page scrolling design, involving a homepage and then panels. However, the homepage that you can set will not show the title of that page for some reason. This leads to every panel having the same title design, but the homepage on the top having nothing. Are there any solutions or work-arounds?

    Hi,

    The Front Page Content section of the Pique overview says:

    On its own, the page you assigned as your Static Front Page will display a single panel with a full-screen featured image, your site logo and/or title, your site menu, and your page content.

    So this section may display “your site logo and/or title,” but not the page title. Secondly, the styling (box around the title) of the page titles in the panels isn’t available for the site title in the “static front page” portion of the homepage.

    Any possible workarounds would, I think, involve CSS customization. I’ll call for staff attention regarding that. Staff will respond here.

    Hi there,

    The homepage panel displays the homepage content, yes, but not a title. This is how the theme is designed to work.

    No title at all is loaded in the HTML from the front page panel, so this isn’t something that can be changed with CSS – if the title was being loaded, then hidden, we could have used CSS to un-hide it, but the title isn’t being loaded at all, so it would require modification to the theme’s PHP files to change.

    While that is possible on your Business Plan site by creating a child theme, we don’t provide support for that type of modification. You can find more details on that option here:
