That theme is a a responsive layout theme. The mobile ready theme is a default theme and a completely different theme that you do not need to enable, if your theme is listed as a responsive layout theme here https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/features/responsive-layout/
The mobile default theme is provided for those who run older themes that aren’t the gold standard which is responsive layout.
A responsive layout theme adapts to different screen sizes so that your website will work (and be optimized for) iPhones, iPads, Android and other mobile devices. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.
When we use a responsive theme we disable the mobile theme. Go to >Dashboard > Appearance > Mobile and disable the mobile theme

Hi there,
The mobile version of your theme is working just fine. The problem is with your domain. If you view your site at the free WordPress.com address, http://wasatchsprings.wordpress.com/, you’ll see the mobile version works as it should. It’s only when you view it at http://wasatchsprings.com/ that you’ll see that problem.
The correct way to connect a domain to a WordPress.com site is via the domain mapping upgrade. You add the upgrade on our end, and then you point the domain to us from your domain provider by changing the domain’s name servers.
Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping)
But you have connected your domain to your site by forwarding it from GoDaddy’s end, and then setting up domain masking with them. While this will make your site show up at your domain, it breaks several features on your site, including the mobile view:
Domain masking works by placing a live copy of your site in a frame that runs on a different site on GoDaddy’s servers. That live copy does not send us the size of the screen someone is using to view your site, so we have no way of knowing that we should show the mobile version of the theme. No matter what device someone uses to view your site, our system will show the site according to the size of the frame running on GoDaddy’s end.
Using domain masking like this will also prevent stats, the admin bar and follow button from working correctly, and can also break some widgets on your site.
If you take down the domain forwarding and masking on that end, and properly map your domain to us with the domain mapping upgrade, everything will work as it should.
