Pique theme questions

  Hi I have a few questions about the Pique theme layout. How do I get the testimonials to show on the scrolling one page it’s not listed under theme options in panel content? How do I get a map to show in the contact us or is it just an image? And where is the dynamic menu setting because I do not see it under Customize>theme options>general settings.

  Can you please provide me a link to the WordPress.com site that you have Pique active on?

  If your site is not hosted here at WordPress.com the instructions you need to set up your theme will be slightly different and you should start a new thread on the theme’s WordPress.org forum:

  How do I get the testimonials to show on the scrolling one page it’s not listed under theme options in panel content?

  The steps to set up testimonials in one of theme’s panels, are as follows:

  • Create a new page with the title you wish to give the panel e.g. “My Testimonials.”
  • From the Page Options tab to the left of the page’s editor, assign Testimonials to the page via the Template dropdown menu.
  • Save and publish the new page.
  • Navigate to our older interface by adding /wp-admin to the end of your site’s URL
  • Create and publish new Testimonials via our older interface. You can follow the guidance here for more in depth steps on how to do that.
  • Finally, navigate to the Theme Options panel in the WordPress.com Customizer and assign your “My Testimonials” page to one the panels.

  How do I get a map to show in the contact us or is it just an image?

  The map in the background of the demo site’s very last panel is a featured image for the page the panel links to.

  If you’d like to include a map, though, then you could consider adding the Contact Info widget to your site’s footer.

  And where is the dynamic menu setting because I do not see it under Customize>theme options>general settings.

  The option should be under Theme Options > Menu Settings. Please can you confirm the name of your site for me? I can then look into why the option isn’t displaying for you.
