    Thank you @thesacredpath
    I didn’t realize I was using smaller images than what was recommended. Got it fixed!

    Awesome, and you are welcome.

    Hi @thesacredpath,

    I have the exact same problem with the images repeating on mobile: jevmusic.com.

    I can’t customize CSS…

    Hope you can help me!!

    Thanks!
    Evelyne

    Hi Evelyne, I have filed a bug report on this and will report back as soon as I hear any news.

    It can be fixed with CSS, but since you don’t have the upgrade that isn’t an option.

    Thanks @thesacredpath!
    Weird thing is our wordpress site (before we bought our domain name): jevmusic.wordpress.com works fine. The mobile version is different then the one with domain name.

    Do you know how that’s possible?

    Thanks,
    Evelyne

    Evelyne, I’ve checked and there haven’t been any updates to Pique since 1/20/16, and getting a domain name would not change anything as far as the theme behavior. Hopefully I’ll hear something back on this sometime this week, or even more hopefully within the next day or two. I’ll let you know.

    Howdy @jevmusic !

    It looks like your domain name, jevmusic.com, is not properly mapped to your WordPress.com site, which is why your site is breaking on mobile devices.

    You can read more about this by putting your domain name into the Domain Helper tool:
    https://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/

    Currently, your domain is displaying your WordPress.com site via an iFrame, probably as a workaround from your registrar, which is why the site doesn’t work for iOS devices.

    Once your domain is properly mapped to your WordPress.com site, your site should work fine.

    Cheers,
    Caroline

    Hi @thesacredpath and @sixhours

    Thanks for the help!
    We mapped our website, and everything works perfect on most devices. But on iphone and ipad it is a disaster: repetition of endless pictures, no real website,… (same problem as @philhirstgardens). We are not able to make adaptations in CSS unfortunately. Is there a solution for this?

    Thanks in advance!
    Julie

    How to I unsubscribe to this?

    @yogiali, there should be an unsubscribe link in the email you receive and if you are here in this thread, there will be an unsubscribe link in the sidebar on the right you can use to unsubscribe.

    @jevmusic, with theme designs such as Pique, it is a delicate balancing act with large full-width images and the length of the content in each section can have an affect on the way the images appear. The following CSS would correct the issue

    .pique-panel-background {
        background-size: cover;
    }

    I’ve pinged one of our theme developers to have them take a look at this and will report back here as soon as I hear back from them. I don’t know if the above CSS will be incorporated into the theme or not. It will depend of whether it causes other undesirable issues. Hang in there.

    @jevmusic, I’ve discussed this with the theme developer and the above CSS will not be implemented into Pique. The problem that comes up is that if someone is using images that are not the recommended size then things break on their sites with the above CSS.

    You can try out and preview custom CSS before you buy as explained here if you wish. You would need to the WordPress.com Premium Plan upgrade in order to save and apply the CSS though, but you can preview the effect when trying things out.
