pix and text compatibility / transfer….
-
I have a flicker account, that stores all the pix I have for my blogs. It’s been over two years since I last installed anything on my website with a portion of those photos hyperlinked, etc. I’ve forgotten how to transfer the flicker pix to my wordpress new page. Can you help? thanks much….shade-tree-mechanic.net / (email visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi there,
If you want the Flickr image itself to appear on your blog, you can select one of your images on Flickr, click on the “Share this photo” icon, select “Link,” and copy that link. Then, you can paste the link on its own line in a post or page on your blog. The image will then be embedded in the post or page.
If you prefer to create a text link to the image, you can do that, too. You can follow our guide for making a text link and link it to your image on Flickr.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)

I really appreciate your instructions, My Dear. Now, we’ll see if I’m savvy enough to make application of same. Many thanks again. Now I know where to start, thanks to the time you took on my behalf. Be well..Jim: Shade-Tree-Mechanic…..Silver Point, TN

Hello Rachel: hoping you won’t feel that I’m taking undo advantage of your good nature, here’s the problem: please go to my website http://www.shade-tree-mechanic.net and go to any of the posts. Click on the highlighted photo references and you’ll see numbered pix from 1 thru’ 17. They come up fine, but I can’t remember how I installed them as you will see them, nor can I remember how to add new pix, beginning with the number 18 yet to be assigned. I followed your directions on copying the link / share this photo and was able to add the link, but the photo never came up on my website test page. Old age is hell, Mam. When you have some time to kill, please look @ the website and tell me what you think. I shall be forever in your debt for any assistance you can provide. I can’t add Flicker pix & can’t add text with hyperlinks again, as you see in the current postings. Just can’t remember how I produced what you will see. Been over two years since I’ve tried to install anything new, simply because I was fearful of erasing what I’d already installed. Take care and many thanks again…….Jim……..)>

Hi Jim,
When I click on the photo references on your site, I see the numbered photos here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/84239574@N05/sets/72157630960900866/detail/
That’s a page on Flickr, so if you’re trying to reproduce that page you’ll need to head to Flickr to do that. It looks like that page is from a Flickr photo album:
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/flickr/SLN22155.html?impressions=true
If you have any questions about how to set that up, Flickr has more support and contact information here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/flickr
I hope this helps! :)
