pixelated youtube link; increase resolution

  Hi
  My site is http://www.animinomie.com, using the Visual theme. I linked to a playlist on Youtube; the thumbnail and picture on the linked page looks blurry. When I click to start the playlist, the image resolves. How do I fix/ increase the resolution of the static images?

  I’m afraid that isn’t something that we at WordPress.com have control over. Youtube sends us that data when something is embedded, we just display it.

  Thanks– so YouTube might provide a lower resolution for a link with less hits?

  I’m not sure of the exact cause (why YouTube might be providing a lower resolution). However, as Josh mentioned, I’m afraid it’s not something we can help resolve since the issue lies at YouTube.

  If you own the videos, you may want to upload them straight to your site through VideoPress:

  That way, you can control the resolution directly!
