Pixilated Favicon

  I have successfully uploaded a favicon. The favicon is a .png image and is exactly 16 x 16.

  However, once it displays at the top of the tab it looks pixilated.

  Does anyone know why, and if there is a way to make it display “clean”?

  I would suggest uploading it at 128px x 128px as explained in the blavatar support page. That seems to produce the best quality once the gravatar people get done with it.

  No luck yet, but IIRC it can take a day or two to update, right? I’ll report back.

  Also make sure and clear your browser cache and force reload the page, or better yet, shut the browser down and restart it. Some browsers (IE in particular) will hang onto favicons with a tenacious grip.
