Place to put non media files

    Can you guys recommend a good place that can be directly linked to from a blog to put non media files (mostly text configuration files, but maybe the occasional compressed archive containing source code) on the internet for free? It seems we aren’t allowed to host this sort of file with wordpress and I’d like to be able to give anyone who finds my little piece of webness download links as there is no nice way to format some files inline within the blog.
