placeholder text will not delete
-
Hi,
There is a widget at the footer of my page that contains some placeholder text that I did not write. I want to delete it, but after and hour plus of searching, I can’t figure out how to delete it. This text populated automatically when I switched to a different theme. Can you tell me how to get rid of it? It’s called “About Us” at the bottom of my page.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Tiffany!
That widget is a default in the first position of your footer. If you’d like to remove it, you need to install a different widget. Once you add a new one, the About Me default widget will disappear.
You can do so here:
https://enduringgloucesterdotcom1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php?url=https%3A%2F%2Fenduringgloucesterdotcom1.wordpress.com%2Fwp-admin%2FClick Widgets, open Footer 1, and install any widget you prefer to take that place.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!
