Placement of widgets on page
-
I’ve added widgets or sidebars but they show up at the bottom of the page and not at the top of the screen that pulls up with the most recent post? Help

Hey Jon,
I just went to your site and the posts on on the left and the sidebar and all the content is on the right. I am not seeing anything at the bottom of the page, just your header. If you are talking about placement of your widgets in the sidebar, go to ADMIN => PRESENTATION => Sidebar Widgets.
Once on that page, you just drag the widget so they are in the order that you want them and then make sure you save! That should hopefully get your going! As well, you want to change the text in your Sidebar Image over to:
<img src="http://fortlauderdalebeachrealestate.wordpress.com/files/2007/02/jon-web.jpg" />That will get it to show up as an image and not the huge text string! Hope I answered your questions!

Trent,
Thanks for the reply, I’ll try to fix the image. What I’m talking about though is when the site comes up, the widgets don’t show up at the top of thep page on the right but rather you have to scroll down the the first post and they are down there?

I’m viewing your blog using Firefox 2.0.0.1 and see that the widgets are exactly where they should be. When a sidebar drops to the bottom this is caused by the use of an over-sized image either placed in the blogging space or in a text widget.

You’re welcome. :)
For future reference the maximum size limitations for images in each theme are found here http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/09/25/how-big-can-my-images-be/
