placing a text widget

I’m trying to place a text widget that allows visitors to place a review. When I tried it out myself, I got the error message that wouldn’t let me through. I’m obviously checking the link for accuracy, but I wanted to know if I include the ‘< >’ in the text or did this interfere with the link? Thanks much.

    Hey there!

When I click on the “Write a Review” link in your sidebar, I am taken to a page at http://icheckup.com/. All seems to be working well. Were you able to fix your own issue, or do you still need assistance?

I you do need help, just describe the issue in a bit more detail and I can troubleshoot further for you!

Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

If my security settings at work are set to block many pop-ups, will that effect my link?

    Hey there,

Your security settings at work can impact the way your link works, yes. Although, this link doesn’t force a pop-up situation, as far as I can tell. You should try the link at home, or on a non-work network/computer to see how it works out.

I tried the link again in other browsers, and things look great, as far as I can tell.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Yes, you’re exactly right, the link works fine in the non-work environment. Thanks for the help.
