Placing an external web page into blog

  I am new to WordPress and I am a bit confused. I have a page located on my site hosted by another hosting company. It is on my own domain. I’d like to have that page appear in my blog without having to link to it. I want the page to actually be in my blog post. I was thinking, maybe there’s a way to create some sort of dynamic placeholder? Is this something that can be done in WordPress.com or do I need to go over to WordPress.org? And if I need to use WordPress.org, what happens to my WordPress.com blog?

  It doesn’t sound to me like the sort of thing you can do here, I’m afraid. You’d need flash or javascript or one of those codes that wordpress.com doesn’t allow.

  If you have hosting already set up, then you can download the wordpress.org software for free and install it there. You can then export the posts from your wp.com blog to the new one, if you want.
