Placing different sized images side by side

I have a small thumbnail logo that I want to place side by side with a larger image in a blog post. As I have it now, the images are side by side BUT the smaller thumbnail is centered against the larger image. I would like the thumbnail to be at the top of the larger image, not positioned at the center of the image (to see what I’m talking about: http://www.adventuresinshaw.com/2009/01/cinnamon-buns/). Is there any way to do this? Right now, I’m using the table feature to get the images side by side. I just want the thumbnail to be in the upper left hand corner instead of centered. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
