placing photos

    For years, I have re-posted the link to my wordpress blog, Joan’s Rome, on my Facebook page and Twitter/X account. Whatever photo I had designated as the ‘featured photo’ automatically popped. up. No longer!. As of about a month, a link to the wordpress site appears instead!.(I took a photo of that) I have to go into my photo file and then select the photo and insert it ! How can I remedy that?
