Plan

Hi guys,
Creator plan has the following:
0% transaction fee for standard WooCommerce payments
(+ standard processing fee)2% transaction fee for standard payments
(+ standard processing fee)Entrepreneur has 0% transaction fee for all payment features
(+ standard processing fee). What is difference between two? Apologies if this is a silli question.
If payment is made via Paypal, Stripe or Worldpay, does it mean that I will be charged 2% if I choose a Creator plan?

The 2% transaction fee on the Creator plan applies if you are using our built-in payment buttons, which are powered by Stripe. You can find more details about these fees here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/#related-fees
If you are using a payment gateway plugin with WooCommerce, the fees will depend on the payment gateway you use, and you can check the plugin details or contact the plugin developer for more details about fees. WordPress.com does not charge any additional fees for using a payment gateway plugin.

Thanks Jamie, it sounds to me that Creator plan is the minimum plan to receive any payments? The reason I say so because in order to get WooCommerce, you need to have at least a Creator plan.

That’s correct that you need at least the Creator plan to use WooCommerce, but it’s possible to receive payments on any WordPress.com plan using WordPress.com payments features like the Payment Buttons block, the Donation Form block, and the Paid Content block.
