Plan

I’m not sure which plan is right for me. Which is the cheapest plan to accept payments from customers?

Hi @amazinggrazingg,
Without knowing too much about how you’ll be selling, the cheapest plan would be the Personal plan which allows you to use the Payments feature. This would require setting up an account with Stripe. You can read more about it here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/payments/
If you want to accept payments through PayPal though, you’ll need at least the Premium plan.
These two are good options if all you need is a way to take simple payments. But if you’re going for a more complete eCommerce experience, I think you’ll want at least the Business plan.

Hi folks, hope you don’t mind me adding to this discussion.
@amazinggrazingg If you want to use “Pay with PayPal” https://wordpress.com/support/pay-with-paypal/ you would need at least a Premium plan. However, if all you want to do is add a one-time PayPal button, you can follow this guide https://wordpress.com/support/paypal/ regardless of plan.

We also have a comparison chart of the different plans that might be helpful:

Generally though, if you are looking to set up a full online “store”, you will likely need at least the Business plan in order to use the most common ecommerce plugins.
If you are only looking to accept more basic payments, the options presented above by justjennifer and igotdes may work for you.
