    I have a question if I purchase a pro plan will wordpress.com will be removed from my website?

    Hey @autoadmits!

    That’s correct, in order to be able to remove the .wordpress.com section of your domain you would need to purchase a paid plan and then connect your domain to the site.

    If you don’t already have a custom domain, with the purchase of an annual plan you might also register a new domain for free for one year.

    If you already have a custom domain, you can use domain mapping if you prefer to keep the domain at your current registrar or transfer the domain to WordPress.com
