PLAN AND WEBSITE INQUIRY
-
Hello there,
I’m interested in availing your PREMIUM PLAN. However, I want to inquire and clarify somethings before purchasing.
I’m a writer/author and I want to step up my website by making it more professional.
First off, I want to rebrand. I don’t want my free websitename.wordpress.com. Is it advisable to delete it first before purchasing a plan so I can start again?
Second, my main goal is to publish blogs and monetize my website. I heard from one of your Happy Engineers is that WordAds is more suitable than Google Adsense via Google Site Kite.
– If I avail your PREMIUM PLAN, will I able to to be automatically eligable for WordAds eventhough I’m starting with 0 content (accounting that I’ll rebrand and delete my existing free websitename.wordpress.com)?Third, besides my personal author website, I also want to create 2 separate websites for my business in the future. If I avail your PREMIUM PLAN, will my two other websites be on the premium plan to or I need to purchase separate plans for separate websites?
Lastly, I want to maximize my websites by customizing plugins. Will I be able to add plugins with your PREMIUM PLAN? Is there a workaround here?
And do you have a voucher discount that I can use when I finally checkout the plan?
Thank you for answering.

No need to delete https://andrergutierrez.wordpress.com/ Just click on “upgrade” in the lefthand menu if you feel a custom domain address will help you. (Personally I don’t think visitors pay much attention to addresses. They are just something people click on to get where they are going to). Saying that, a paid plan is good as it removes the annoying ads visitors see at free sites. If you want custom domains for three different sites then you will need three paid plans. And Premium still doesn’t allow plugins. You’d need Business plans to add those.

Hi there,
Thank you for your interest in our Premium plan. I’m happy to clarify all your questions and help you in your journey.
- Rebranding. If you’re planning on a fresh start, you don’t need to delete your existing website. Once you upgrade to the Premium plan, you’ll have the option to register a new domain name as part of the plan. This way, your website will change from “andrergutierrez.wordpress.com” to a custom domain. If you prefer, you can also use this opportunity to completely rebrand your site with a new name.
- Monetization. WordAds is indeed our advertising program, and it can be a great way to monetize your site. With the Premium plan, you are indeed eligible for WordAds from the get-go. This allows you to monetize your site right away without needing to meet any minimum traffic requirements.
- Multiple Websites. Each plan, including the Premium plan, applies to just one website. So, if you plan to create additional websites for your business in the future, you would need to purchase separate plans for each of them.
- Plugins: Customizing plugins is an excellent way to add additional functionality to your website. However, the ability to install custom plugins is a feature that’s only available with our Business and Commerce plans. The Premium plan doesn’t directly allow you to install plugins. That said, the Premium plan does come with a variety of built-in features that could meet many of your needs. If you find that you need more advanced customization or specific plugins down the line, you can always upgrade to our Business or Commerce Plan.
I hope this answers all your queries. I’ve also sent you an email with a special discount coupon you can use during checkout.
