Plan cancellation

  Hello, I am attempting to cancel my plan/subscription. I go to Manage Purchases and only see ways to upgrade not cancel.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Which plan exactly are you trying to cancel?

  Exactly which site URL starting with http:// and which username account are you referring to please?

  WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 10 business days for the refund to be received.

  re: Canceling upgrades
  Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

  You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel any upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew. Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

  If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account

  HI there,

  Your account does not own any upgrades on WordPress.com, and the site you indicated above is on the free plan.

  What is the URL of the site for which you bought an upgrade? You’ll need to be logged in as the username that owns that site/upgrade to cancel it.

  I didn’t buy an upgrade that I know of. That said, I log into the site and am unable to cancel out. When I go to “Manage Purchases” it only allows me to “upgrade” not cancel.

  Then what are you trying to cancel? If you haven’t bought a plan, there won’t be a plan to cancel.

  OK….so I’ll delete my site and that will be the end of it…correct?

  Correct. You can delete a site via My Site ->Settings. Note that if you delete the site, the address, http://hondoartworks.wordpress.com/ won’t be available again in future should you want to use it.
