Plan Confusion

  I current have a domain with go daddy. If i transfer this domain to wordpress.com and pay for thier “starter” pack, would this be enough to have a one page website hosted and be able to use the woo commerce plugin to sell items?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there!

  On the WordPress.com Starter plan, you can use your custom domain and transfer it to us. You can also have a one page site or multiple pages if you’d like, but using plugins like WooCommerce and other plugins is not available on the Starter plan.

  You can still sell products on the Starter plan though, with the Payments block. But if you prefer to use WooCommerce, the Creator plan is required.

  Aside from being able to use WooCommerce, on the Creator plan you also get: 

  • 50 GB storage, higher than the Starter plan which is 6 GB
  • install plugins like payment gateways and others
  • install custom theme or third-party themes
  • ads-free experience and more https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/creator-plan/ 

  To sign up to the Creator plan, go to Upgrades > Plans page.
