Hi guys, if I buy a plan and then next year I don’t pay again, I can lose all my posts or just lose the rights of this plane and the domain and continue with a website free of charge? thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your posts will be there but all the domain URLs will be broken links and no matter where they are clicked on the internet and in the search engines will produce a 404 (page not found). Bottom line: If you are not into blogging over the long term do not purchase a domain mapping upgrade. Read also:

What happens if I remove Customize?
All upgrades on WordPress.com are renewed yearly. Should you choose to cancel your subscription, your custom fonts, colors, and CSS will no longer be applied to your blog. The revisions for your customizations will still be saved, but they won’t be visible on the blog’s front end unless you renew your subscription. https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/#frequently-asked-questions

If you purchase domain mapping (so you can have your own domain name), you would not lose your posts if you choose not to renew next year. cayroljose.wordpress.com would continue to work just fine.

I forgot to add that we subscribe to URLs so if your remove a domain URL the subscribers will be gone unless they choose to look for the underlying .wordpress.com blog and they find it and subscribe again.

Right but all the backlinks to the domain URLs that helped it earn a pagerank will be gone when the domain mapping to the domain URL is removed. The .wordpress.com site will start again from ZERO.
