plan pricing and billing currency description

    I have decided to give WordPress another try after seeing the following plan pricing sheet: https://wordpress.com/pricing/ based on the Turkish Lira. The Premium plan is listed as 25 lira a month, which equals about 1.8 USD according to the current exchange rate. I live in Turkey, so this is reasonable. However, I was given an annual price of 96 USD after clicking the premium plan, when 25 USD should have been given, if one does the math. I did not proceed with the payment of course. Why was I not charged with the amount as advertised?
